The following instructions will help you remove the EasyConfig Dialup
Manager program
STEP 1 – Remove shortcut for dialup from your desktop
- Right click on the dialup icon on your desktop. Should be labeled as East Texas Rural Net with a telephone above
it.
- Select delete from the pop-up menu and delete the icon.
STEP 2 – Remove dialup icon
- Double click on My Computer
- Double click on Dialup Networking
- Rightclick on the icon labeled “East Texas Rural Net”.
- Select delete from the pop-up menu and delete the file
- Close this window when finished
STEP 3 – Remove the easyconfig folder
- Double click on My Computer
- Double click on local disk c:\
- Find the folder named “easyconfig”
- Right click on this folder
- Select delete from the pop-up menu and delete the folder
- Close this window when finished
